Thinking fast and slow
Thinking fast and slow by Daniel Khaneman
Business book review
Review by: Chris Daems, Director, Principal Financial Solutions
Challenging and entertaining are not usually words you would associate with books written by academics. However Thinking fast and slow by Daniel Khaneman isn’t your typical academic tome.
In his book Dr Khaneman explains how, as humans, we make decisions, why a wide range of influences impact accurate and rational thought and why taking some time to engage the rational elements of your brain can be valuable.
On reading this book, I found myself nodding, laughing and ever being fooled by my own thought process. Thinking Fast and Slow is incredibly powerful and provides a fascinating perspective on the inner workings of the mind as well as a framework on how to make better decisions.
