Wednesday 4 March 2015
London, EC1Y 4SD
Open to all financial advisers, financial planners and wealth managers, whether users of Distribution Technology software and services or not, the 2015 conference focuses on why this year is going to be a crucial one for advisers to get suitability right and what help there is in the market to do so.
Key speakers are Dr Ros Altmann CBE, who will be talking on the implications of pensions’ reform; challenges and opportunities for retirees and their financial advisers, Simon New, Director Wealth & Asset Management, EY, and Rory Percival, technical socialist at the FCA, who will take part in the panel debate on suitability in which DT will ask ‘What does ‘good’ look like from the Regulator’s perspective?’. The event also features a range of speakers from companies across the investment and pensions spectrum, speaking on suitability issues within workshops as well as sessions from prominent Chief Investment Officers. The conference is accredited for structured CPD.
Key themes of the conference are:
· The importance of suitability – how far have we come and what does the regulator expect in 2015 and beyond?
· What does “good” look like in terms of ongoing provision of services?
· The importance of suitability around retirement income solutions
· How can advisers deliver on suitability efficiently and cost- effectively?
· What do clients want and need?
DT CEO Ben Goss will also demonstrate the company’s latest software to support suitability for wealth management and retirement income planning.
To top off the conference, DT is hosting its first adjudicated Dynamic Planner of the Year awards, an annual competition it is launching in 2015.
