Prestwood launches business consultancy
Cashflow modelling and back-office provider Prestwood Group is launching a business consultancy, expanding on the one-to-one business development and seminars that the Group has been undertaking with Prestwood users.
Prestwood said the consultancy is being set up to give advisers an alternative to the bigger consultancies and business development professionals in the market, which can be expensive to engage.
Prestwood is bringing the consultancy to market with a series of free events around the country, in partnership with Model Office, a FinTech, RegTech platform, aimed at helping adviser businesses keep up with regulatory change as well as ensuring their business is profitable and compliant.
Julie Lord, Prestwood director (pictured) said: “Especially for those working alone, it is hard to find support that doesn’t cost an exorbitant amount and actually delivers more than just ‘marketing-speak’.
“These events are designed to help planners increase profitability and introduce firms to a way of building a stronger proposition: one that is rigorous, always compliant, and for those thinking of exit – ways to reduce time and cost for due diligence processes.”
Chris Davies, MD of Engage Insight, developer of Model Office, explained that the platform provides firms with a snapshot of current business performance across their systems, client proposition, operations, etc., and produces a template to help firms implement a more streamlined, seamless, compliant, and profitable strategy.
“MO adopts a prescriptive approach to business development using gamification. This means you can understand how well you are performing and what needs to be done to improve scores to ensure on-going compliance and competitive advantage.”
