Percival and Harrison review suitability report writing at Technical Insight Seminars
Rory Percival and Cathi Harrison will be tackling the issues around writing compliant, FCA-friendly, suitability reports at the Professional Paraplanner Technical Insight Seminars 2018.
Rory is a well-known figure in the industry, both for his role as technical specialist for the FCA and as a supporter of paraplanners as, in his words, “sitting at the heart of adviser businesses”.
Rory will be tackling issues around suitability reports, which are obviously a core part of the advice process and central to the paraplanner’s role. He will be looking in particular at reports needed at the annual review stage in light of new requirements, as well as providing his views on good and poor practice for suitability reports.
The next Seminar is at Sprowston Manor in Norwich on 23 May. This runs from 09.00 to 13.30.
Cathi Harrison, founder of Para-Sols and Apricity, will be talking about her firm’s approach to suitability report writing at the Norwich Seminar (Sprowston Manor) on 23 May 2018.
Having just launched her new compliance firm, Apricity, she will also be talking on compliance issues in adviser firms, suggesting new ways of tackling them, and how paraplanners can benefit from these developments.
If paraplanners haven’t registered for an event as yet, there are still some places available. For Norwich senior administrators looking to become paraplanners are also invited.
If you have paraplanners or administrators in your team that you think will benefit from attending, please share this with them.
At the Professional Paraplanner seminars delegates will hear from industry experts in pensions, tax, retirement planning, suitability reports, compliance, investment and other areas – presenting on technical issues, due diligence, behavioural finance, best practice, suitability report writing and a host of other topics, aimed at helping adviser firms deliver even better outcomes and service to their clients.
What paraplanners said about the first of this year’s Technical Insight Seminars in Exeter.
“This was the best event I have attended in terms of the relevance of the content.”
“The content being aimed at the paraplanners rather than just sales pitches for the companies which is what happens at most events. Well done!”
“It was an excellent event with some excellent speakers, I was particularly impressed with the presentations from Rory (Percival) & Paul (Squirrell) and learned a lot. You offer such a valuable service with these seminars and I wish you continued success with them. I look forward to attending more in the future.”
